TOWN HOUSE, Amersham

“An Eclectic Watering Hole & Snug.”

Our client came to us looking to transform a disused loggia space into a lively and characterful at-home bar and snug. Inspired by our client’s worldly travels, the bar features Art Deco details such as the staggered cornice and top detail to the back. For the intimate, comfortable lounge space we chose antique pieces such as a 19th century camping trunk and a reupholstered Art Deco tub chair. We think it’s the perfect watering hole for any day of the week.

Above: With the help of our amazing carpenter we designed an art-deco influenced bar with this black etching geometric detail within the side panels.

Below: The TV can be seen to be cleverly hidden in a media unit behind a piece of artwork which opens up when the TV is in use, and hides it away when it’s not needed.
