“Italian deli in the heart of Clapham.”
Pintus came to Nefarious in need of a refurbishment with the aim to conquer the evening market. We needed to transform this deli into a restaurant/bar, yet still keeping the takeaway offering for during the day sales. With a brief of ‘Sardinia Chic’ and a small budget Nefarious was asked to redesign and rebrand this local favourite.
The floor is a real feature in an orange and white checkerboard that matches the brand and creates a real impact on first footfall. We also added a small banquette to the back room for large groups and to make access to the toilet easier. Dressing was also done by Nefarious, visiting Sunbury Market for plates and art to add personality to the space.
The external design was based around Italian coastal times with contrasting colours of blue and the brand’s signature orange. A new pin mounted logo adorns the facade created by us, with matching blade sign and bistro-style dining. The internal space has had a major layout change, and high level timber panelling features through out the space with simple beading and panelling.
