Holland Bark Club, W8 London

“A puppy paradise in the heart of Kensington”

Holland Bark Club was founded in 2015 by a Mother & Daughter duo who wanted to create a safe, calming and happy environment for your 4 legged companion. Their main priority was the dogs comfort, taking into consideration their wants and needs. Such as places to play, places to rest and places to interact with one and other. With a small retail section to the front of the unit and two levels of doggy play zones to choose from we wish we could stay and play all day.

The floor is a real feature in an orange and white checkerboard that matches the brand and creates a real impact on first footfall. We also added a small banquette to the back room for large groups and to make access to the toilet easier. Dressing was also done by Nefarious, visiting Sunbury Market for plates and art to add personality to the space.

Above: It was important for the owners for the dogs to enjoy the space so we decided to choose a colour palette that can be seen by dogs which was blue and yellow. To adds point of interest we included arched entryways, colour blocked flooring and hand painted details which include hand painted outlines of the puppies themselves.

Below: Moving to the basement we chose to use the blue colour way, highlighting the colour change in the stairs with the idea that the colour is spilling from the upstairs with a curved wavy floor detail. With the blue working harmoniously with the pastel soft play blocks.
